Important Technical Information and Specifications:

WIDTH AND HEIGHT - can be swapped (ie. a vertical layout as opposed to a horizontal one)
SAFETY AREA - no vital information (ie. text, logos) can be closer than this to the trimmed edge
BLEED - colour that bleeds off the trimmed edge of your layout must continue at least this far beyond the trimmed edge in your file (including photos and/or graphics)
COLOUR MODE - please provide RGB and/or CMYK files only. Pantone and spot colours will be converted to their CMYK equivalent based on CREO colour tables. CREO provides a high standard for colour matching, however, we cannot guarantee results. You may choose to see a colour proof for an additional charge.
FONTS - convert all fonts to outlines prior to exporting PDF. COTALA MARKETING will not accept files that require font loading
RESOLUTION - photos must be supplied at 200 ppi - 300 ppi (pixels per inch). COTALA MARKETING cannot be held responsible for quality issues resulting from poor artwork resolution
FILE FORMAT - PDF X-1a:2001 is the preferred format. PDF X-1a:2001 ensures PostScript Level 3 compatability with features like drop shadows, object translucency, or other Adobe FX applied to your artwork. Standard PDF, JPG, TIF are also acceptable file formats (300 ppi minimum), or INDD, EPS, AI, PSD (CS3 or earlier) with fonts converted to outlines.
