Terms and Conditions
Printing Services
Turn Around Time:
If you are supplying print-ready files, an electronic PDF proof will be emailed to you within 48 business hours after receiving your order for approval (business hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time). Once approved, your order will be printed and shipped within 5 business days. If you require design work, turnaround time will vary depending on the nature of your request.
Proof Approval:
You are 100% responsible for approving your order for printing. Should an error be discovered after you have approved your proof, and your product is finished, no refund or reprint will be authorized at the expense of COTALA MARKETING.
File Technicalities:
If your file contains technical deficiencies (ie. low resolution, non-printing colour channels, inadequate bleed, inadequate safety area, over-saturation, under-saturation, PDF generation errors), we will do our best to identify these issues prior to printing. If these issues are not identified and a printing defect occurs as a result of a deficiency in your supplied file(s), you are 100% responsible for the full cost of the product. To avoid costly printing errors, please leave design file setup to a trained professional, unless you are not overly concerned about the quality of your finished product.
Colour Accuracy:
We will do our best to make sure your finished product is the best it can be, taking into consideration equipment and file limitations. We cannot guarantee colour matching, as this is virtually impossible in the digital printing environment. We can; however, colour match as best as possible based on hard copy sent from you to our attention, as well as provide a hard copy colour proof for approval (will incur an additional fee and extended turnaround time).
Sales Tax:
All printed product is subject to a 7% BC Sales Tax (or 12% HST after July 1, 2010).
Courier Deliveries:
COTALA MARKETING cannot be held responsible for late deliveries or deliveries lost by a courier.
Cancellations:
Orders cancelled prior to printing but after PDF proof delivery will incur a fee, payable by you, for services already rendered. Orders cancelled prior to processing will not incur a processing charge.
Returns and Refunds: THERE ARE NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS ON FINISHED PRODUCT
All artwork is approved by you prior to printing. By approving your artwork for printing, you assume the responsibility for printed errors. If a product is defective (ie. trim accuracy out beyond allowable tolerence, colour file prints black and white or vice-versa), we will reprint the defective portion of your order and ship it to you at no cost.
Design Time:
While we do our best to provide the utmost customer satisfaction with regards to design, if you request design services and COTALA MARKETING fulfills its duty by creating, and providing an electronic proof of, a design that meets the criteria of your written and / or verbal instructions, you will be charged for services rendered at the regular design rate, regardless of whether or not you use the design. Rest assured, we will do everything in our power to create a design you are truly satisfied with.
Authorization:
By entering characters in the box beside, "I agree to the terms and conditions..." when you place your order, you acknowledge that you are bound to these terms and conditions.
Virtual Tour Services
Ownership:
Virtual Tours and Real Estate Photographs are the property of COTALA MARKETING. By purchasing these services, you are purchasing rights to use these photos and the virtual tours for the purpose of advertising real property. They may not be resold without the express written consent of COTALA MARKETING.
Turn Around Time:
Virtual Tours and Real Estate Photographs will be processed and sent to your local board within 1-3 business days from the date of the shoot. COTALA MARKETING is not responsible for turnaround delays at any real estate board for MLS submissions. Orders that include printed product add-ons are subject to additional turnaround time.
Proof Approval:
For orders that include printed products, you are 100% responsible for approving your PDF proof(s) for printing. Should an error be discovered after you have approved your proof, and your product is finished, no refund or reprint will be authorized at the expense of COTALA MARKETING.
Weather Conditions:
Virtual Tours and Real Estate Photos are shot in all weather conditions. There are no refunds for Virtual Tours and Real Estate Photos shot during poor weather.
Sales Tax:

Orders cancelled after a tour has been photographed are payable in full. Orders cancelled prior to a scheduled shoot will not incur a processing charge.
